Is pdfpixelpress free?
Yes. Every tool that runs in the browser is free to use, with no account.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
For most tools, no: files are processed on your own device. Office, HTML, PDF/A and OCR conversions run on our server, which deletes your file right after converting it.
Is there a file size limit?
There is no fixed limit. Very large files depend on your device’s memory, so a phone may be slower than a computer.
Why do some tools say “Needs server”?
Converting Office files and OCR need software that can’t run inside a web page. Those tools will work once a conversion server is connected.
Is redaction permanent?
Yes. Redacted pages are rebuilt as images with the black boxes burned in, so the hidden text can’t be recovered.
Can I recover a password I set with Protect PDF?
No. Passwords are never stored, so keep a copy somewhere safe.
